Tracy + Brenden were a joy to work with! Rustic weddings have taken a turn from unfinished to curated over the last few years, and we truly love the unique & playful take T&B took on their fun-filled day. Also, when we sat down with them to hear about their vision for their big day, it was refreshing to be presented with a couple who wanted COLOR in their palette. 2017 & 2018 were filled with stunning, neutral designs, so this was a welcomed change! “Rustic Whimsy Wedding” is what we aimed for with this one. We wanted their unique style to shine through in every element of their design. Another thing, we could not wait to travel for their event, it’s been a huge goal of ours to see more of what this coast & beyond has to offer – so bring on the long car rides or flights!
Design Details
This was our first destination wedding of the year and we couldn’t have loved Herman & Luther’s more! First of all, Herman & Luther’s is such a beautiful historic barn with tons of charm. We loved seeing their logo plastered on the sides of the coolest vintage trucks you’ll see today. Tracy & Brenden read their vows to each other in a private post-ceremony moment in the middle of field of wild grass up to their shoulders *cue the tears*. Herman & Luther’s larger than life fire pit made for the best late night smore’s snack! A stunning color coordinated balloon garland above a carefully curated table of sweet treats added the fun pop we needed against the massive stone wall.
Fun Facts About The Newlyweds
Finally, a little about this couple, they love to travel! Since the wedding Tracy’s been jet-setting all over the globe. Sunflowers are Tracy’s favorite flower and for that reason they were the inspiration behind a huge portion of their wedding design! For each special occasion, Brenden would get balloons for Tracy instead of flowers, so above all we knew that we had to incorporate those into their design where ever we could!
