A huge perk to being in this industry is getting to meet so many different people – from photographers, to caterers, to lighting and draping teams – we can’t get enough! Not only does meeting vendors help us when it comes to planning a wedding, but many of these people have also become good friends! Similarly, being wedding planners, we get to visit a TON of wedding venues. Even if our bride and groom don’t pick a certain venue, we’re touring with them to help weigh the pros and cons. We’ve seen it all when it comes to Maryland wedding venues – from waterfront barns, to ballrooms dripping with chandeliers, to some of the most gorgeous private estates. You can understand why it might be difficult to pick our top ten, but in this post, we’ve tried to do just that! Here they are…

OUR TOP 10 MARYLAND WEDDING VENUES

The Evergreen Museum | Baltimore, Maryland

If you’re looking for a picturesque, quaint venue that feels like it’s straight out of a fairytale, then you have to check out The Evergreen Museum in Baltimore, MD. First, there’s the insane property. Sprawling greens, framed by the most gorgeous boxwoods and landscaping, are the perfect backdrop for the beautiful mansion on site. The patio is absolutely perfect for cocktail hour and the Carriage House is simply too pretty for words. You’d never know this gem existed just off Charles Street in Baltimore, but it is so worth the visit for our couples. It’s rare our couples leave The Evergreen without a contract in hand!

Mt. Washington Mill | Baltimore, Maryland

One thing we love so much about the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House is the character it boasts. This unexpected venue is in a small shopping center, but you’d never know it once on site. The gorgeous, old brick walls surround years of history and make for the most insane backdrop for design. Most brides who get married here are looking for an industrial, rugged feel to their wedding. The exposed brick, heavy barn doors, and stellar floor plan make this venue one for the record books. It’s definitely one of our favorite Maryland wedding venues.

The Engineer’s Club | Baltimore, Maryland

Regal. Charming. Elegant. Grand. These are all words that come to mind when we work at The Engineer’s Club in Baltimore, Maryland – another one of our favorite Maryland wedding venues. Ballrooms can be super difficult to transform, especially with old lighting and dark carpeting, but The Engineer’s Club is a space we absolutely love designing.

Baltimore Museum of Art | Baltimore, Maryland

If you’re looking for an absolutely stunning location to host your wedding, look no further than the Baltimore Museum of Art. At first glance, you may not think this space is one for a wedding, but transforming the grand hall makes for a seriously stellar place to say I Do. We still have chills from the wedding we designed there this spring!

Our Exclusive Barn | Phoenix, Maryland

We are so incredibly lucky to have rights to an exclusive barn, located near Hunt Valley. Not to mention, said barn boasts incredible 360* countryside views from the finished silo, a stone fireplace, and exposed timber you’ll drool over. With this venue rental, you’ll not only get access to the property for the entire weekend, but also our Run the Show package, which is an insane deal! Seriously, snag this before we realize how crazy we’re being.

Tidewater Inn | Easton, Maryland

While we’re on the Eastern Shore, let’s chat about the Tidewater Inn, another one of our favorite Maryland wedding venues. This luxury bed and breakfast is actually bursting at the seams with adorable charm. Not only is this historic gem filled with nooks and crannies for the unexpected picture, but it sits in the middle of downtown Easton, where the photo opportunities are sure to take your breath away!

Belmont Manor | Elkridge, Maryland

Once a home for raising thoroughbread race horses, Belmont Manor now belongs to Howard County and is the perfect location for a garden wedding. From the plentiful gardens bursting with seasonal blooms and beautiful ponds to the property itself on which the Manor House resides, this space is one we absolutely adore! One of our own is getting married here this month so we may be a little biased, but how could we not?!

The Barns at Grimmel Farm | Jarrettsville, Maryland

Along with the fact that this working farm is a rustic bride’s dream come true, the family who runs it is probably the nicest bunch we’ve ever met. The barn is perfect for your ceremony, while the grounds provide ample space for tenting a reception. We’ve been lucky enough to work with two of the Grimmel girls for their weddings and dare we say that their personalities alone are enough to make you want to get married there?!
