Belmont Manor Wedding

In March 2015, our Be More Inspired Wedding Studio partner turned great friend, Linda (owner & founder of Blush Floral Design Studio), came to us with exciting news. Her daughter (and the sweetest person on this planet!), Alayna, was going to be engaged! (Key words: going to).

We couldn’t contain our excitement, but we did around Alayna herself, of course. We are truly family in the BMI studio and it was one of our very own tying the knot this time, which made us very excited!

Now more about this fun-loving couple: Alayna and Matt met while they were both attending Salisbury University and have been together ever since. It says a lot when a couple can make it through their college years and transition into the real world, even with all the trials and responsibilities of adulthood.

They love the outdoors, so it made perfect sense when they were engaged while hiking in Texas. Matt was creative and figured out a way to have Alayna herself capture the moment without any idea. It was such a creative moment and magical photo, so we just had to share…

When Alayna came to us, she knew she wanted a fall wedding. It was destined to be a Belmont Manor wedding. Belmont Manor has the outdoors she loves, pristine landscaping and a draped out tent behind a gorgeous manor house. What more could you ask for?

With her, we decided to draw inspiration from mother nature’s turning leaves and the rise of copper accents. It was the perfect mix and came together so beautifully. Enjoy!

During our visit to Belmont Manor, I imagined how beautiful the bridal suite photos would come out and these photos are right on. Simply stunning!

The Decorations

Most couples with a Belmont Manor wedding opt to have the opulent gazebo as a backdrop to their “I Do’s,” but with Matt and Alayna’s love for nature, we decided to use the impressive trees pictured below.

Plus, the gazebo was the back drop for walking down the aisle, which made it a double bonus!

The Floor Plan

Not only are the grounds impeccable, but Belmont Manor’s tent is also just as ravishing. Personally, I had been dying to do a large “X” floor plan so it was lucky that Linda and Alayna trusted me, and wanted something out of the ordinary. They went for it!

I was more than pleased with how it turned out!

On a serious note, the over-sized arrangement in the middle cross section of the tables was taller than Courtney! We’re talking over 6 feet people – SIX FEET! Here’s a closer look…

After the party started, no one wanted it to end. The dance floor was packed the entire night!

Okay, here’s one last look at the bouquets because they were breathtaking. It probably helps that the Mother of the Bride is an incredible and sought after floral designer in Baltimore, but I mean, come on…

Since the wedding, they have made a house into a beautiful home. They now spend their weekends fixing it up, cuddling with their kittens and hiking with their new pup.
