1. Tell us a little bit about your company.

Ethan Wise is a graduate from Towson University with a Film Degree. Upon graduating, I jumped headfirst into my own freelance videography business, starting Wise Films in 2013. We are a small, family run boutique wedding videography company that loves nothing more than capturing the unique personality of our couples and their wedding day.

2. What sets you apart from other vendors within your line of work?

The quality of our work and the time we devote to each of our couples. Wise Films consists of Ethan Wise, Aaron Wise, and on occasion, a third shooter. We aim to get to know every one of our couples on a personal level. This allows us to create a wedding film that is unique to their story and personalities. Because of this, we only take on a select number of weddings each year. When you book Wise Films, you know you will be taken care of. We are very fast to respond to emails and we are easy to work with.We also do not outsource any of our filming, editing, and packaging. We pride ourselves on customer service and creating the best possible experience for our couples. On the big day, we make sure to be considerate and professional while working alongside the other vendors to make your day go smoothly. Oh and if someone tells us they cried after watching one of our films, we know we did something right.

3. What’s your favorite part about a wedding?

I think our favorite part of the wedding day is the first dance. It is always such a special moment and the love that is felt throughout the venue is so apparent.

4. What is something you wish couples knew?

I wish couples knew more about the logistics of filming a wedding. The amount of equipment we have and moving it from the prep location to the ceremony location and so on is no easy task. We like to have at least 15-30 minutes to set up for the ceremony and reception but that does not always happen.

5. Why do you think a couple should hire a planner?

See my last answer! If the couple has hired a planner, it simply makes the day go by smoothly and allows for every other vendor to do their job with less stress and worry. We have filmed countless weddings with Moore and Co. and the difference is night and day.
