The Peabody Library

The Peabody Library is home to over 300,000 volumes from the 19th century and is one of the most beautiful libraries in the world.

As wedding planners who have planned many weddings at this venue, we never get tired of looking at this historical masterpiece space. This timeless, luxury wedding venue has five tiers of ornamental cast-iron balconies, a beautiful lattice skylight with frosted glass, and black-and-white marble floors. This magnificent book-lined atrium is an ideal space for couples who value literature, history, and grandeur.

The Capacity: The Peabody Library can hold up to 200 guests for a seated dinner reception, but we recommend only 150 if you’re having a live band.

The Evergreen Museum, where sophistication meets history, and every corner tells a story.

Tucked away in a tranquil, tree-lined enclave just north of bustling downtown Baltimore, The Evergreen Museum is a 19th-century gilded age mansion with beautiful gardens and landscaping. This wedding venue was originally the idyllic retreat of Baltimore’s philanthropic Garrett family who lived there from 1878 to 1952.

Today, the Evergreen Mansion is now a museum and a luxury wedding venue. Inside the museum, guests will be captivated by the artifacts and antique furnishings throughout the historic residence. Then they will experience the perfect cocktail hour, sipping champagne on the adjoining terrace, overlooking the blooming gardens.

As wedding planners, we love the Evergreen Museum for Spring and Summer weddings. The gardens and lawn are absolutely stunning, it provides the perfect ambiance for a sophisticated wedding..

The Capacity: This wedding venue can host 170 guests inside both the museum and the carriage house.

The Baltimore Museum of Art

This Museum wedding venue is the perfect blend of art, elegance, and culture.

The Baltimore Museum of Art, established in 1914, is home to 97,000 pieces of artwork, from ancient Egypt to now. As wedding planners, we love the neo-classical architecture, abundant sunlight, coffered ceilings, and stone columns. The interior also has a neutral color palette, so even though the interior is quite grand, you have the perfect event space to personalize to your liking.

The Capacity: The BMA has 2 spaces that can host weddings, Fox Court and Antioch Court. Fox court can hold up to 180 guests for dinner and dancing, but when combined with the Antioch court…you can host up to 250!

The Belvedere boasts grand architecture with intricate detailing, opulent ballrooms adorned with crystal chandeliers and ornate moldings, and a classic yet versatile interior design that allows for personalized touches. Guests will enjoy stunning views of the city skyline from select vantage points, adding to the venue’s allure and charm!

The Capacity: The Belvedere offers multiple event spaces to accommodate various sizes of gatherings. The Grand Ballroom can host 300 guests for dinner and dancing. The John Eager Howard Room can host up to 100 guests and The Owl Bar: A historic watering hole with a cozy ambiance, perfect for pre or post-event gatherings.

The captivating blend of history and nautical beauty at Baltimore’s stunning Frederick Douglass Maritime Museum will make your wedding a day to remember.

Nestled by the water, it offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the Baltimore Inner Harbor and the city skyline—including the iconic Domino Sugar sign.

For couples with the passion for Baltimore’s historical importance, this venue honors the legacy of shipbuilding and Baltimore’s working waterfront as it relates to African American Maritime and Cultural History. This waterfront venue is also in one of the city’s oldest industrial buildings, which will give your wedding a historical atmosphere. You can host your entire wedding inside or outside.  Outside we can help you build your wedding from the ground up (literally!) with tenting, rentals and decor.  Any vision can be brought to life here.  Inside, you’ll find exposed brick, wood beams and sweeping views of the inner harbor. This is a great rain plan if outside is plan A and weather doesn’t cooperate.

The Capacity

The Frederick Douglass Maritime Museum can host up to 200 seated guests inside, and 450 outside. It’s also near the city’s best hotels, making it a convenient location for guests and the bridal party.
