Red Roses & Edgy Elegance: A Stylish Baltimore Wedding
Every once in a while, we have the pleasure of working with a couple whose vision is so clear and unique that it pushes us to new levels of creativity. This was exactly the case with our sweet couple from Towson, MD. They came to us in November 2021, referred by the mother of the bride who had attended another wedding we had planned. From the start, they knew they wanted a celebration that balanced the bride’s vintage edgy style with the elegance desired by her parents. The result? A stunning affair filled with red roses, bold black accents, and gold details at the historic Grand Baltimore.
A Vision in Red and Black
The couple’s vision was all about red roses, and lots of them! The bride had a love for red and black, and we incorporated this striking color palette throughout the wedding. To add depth and balance, we included other rich red flowers and plenty of greenery. The Grand Baltimore provided the perfect backdrop. The couple was drawn to its rich history and elegant ambiance, featuring marble and gold accents that complemented their theme beautifully. As planners, we loved working at this venue, especially with such a large-scale wedding production and budget. The venue team was exceptional!

Every corner of this wedding was thoughtfully designed and filled with detail. Some of our favorite elements included:

Custom draping and draping behind the head table with tassels, created by the production team.

The florist designed breathtaking arrangements in rich, varied reds, featuring lush red roses and balanced with greenery. Show-stopping “dripping” florals, designed to cascade dramatically, added romance and extravagance. These dynamic florals adorned the ceremony, stairs, and head table/cake areas.

The bride’s short dress, custom-made by Jill Andrews Gowns, crafted from her mother and grandmother’s wedding dresses.

Our team, Courtney and Jenn, worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life. We provided the highest level of service, taking care of every detail. We helped with everything from bridesmaid gifts, cards, and jewelry to planning every detail of the wedding day. Courtney and Jenn, our exceptional team, ensured every detail was flawlessly executed.
Going Above and Beyond
Our commitment to our couples goes beyond just planning the wedding day. We pride ourselves on our concierge service. We ran errands, managed food deliveries, and even steamed bridesmaids’ pajamas. One memorable moment was when we had to search all over Baltimore for clip-on attachments for a bridesmaid who forgot her ears weren’t pierced!
This wedding was a joy to plan, and the bride was a gem to work with. It was something new and unique for us, and we’re so grateful to have been a part of it.
