It was one year ago today we were creating a space to bring together creatives from all over the Maryland/DV/Virginia area at the DC HoneyBook launch!
A LITTLE BACKGROUND
HoneyBook is an amazing online platform we use as a company and a collective. HoneyBook was created to help small businesses like us have a seamless client experience from inquiry to final invoice. It allows our couples the ability to view proposals online, sign them virtually, and make payments. It even has automated reminders, so we can better focus on creating flawless events and not payments!
CREATING THE HONEYBOOK LAUNCH
Rewind to April of 2016 – when we were approached by HoneyBook to help them with a launch party in Washington DC. We were immediately on-board with our Be More Inspired Wedding Studio family, which was one of the first collectives to test their collective platform.
We knew the clean and modern HoneyBook brand had to be tied into our design. As a collective, we are a bright and cheerful bunch, so we wanted it to also reflect a fun summer soirée. That is exactly where we took it: clean, modern elements with pops of bright colors. Marble and copper was the perfect pair to accompany our greenery, white and coral inspiration.
